Bodie State Historic Park Photography Workshops 2008
The Bodie State Historic Park Photography Workshops provide unique photographic opportunities and instruction. During the workshops, participants photograph Bodie at sunrise, sunset, and selected building interiors. The cost of the workshops include a $100 donation to Bodie State Historic Park, unless otherwise noted. The leaders of these workshops are professional photographers and experienced workshop leaders. PHOTOGRAPHERS’ DAYS
Bodie State Historic Park hosts a Photographers’ Day one day each month during the summer. Each session is held on the 3rd Saturday of each month starting in May and ending in October. During these days, photographers are allowed to enter the park 1/2 hour before sunrise and stay until 1/2 hour after sunset. Limited to 50 people per day. The fee of $50 per person is payable by check only. Checks should be payable to Friends of Bodie and mailed to Bodie SHP, P.O. Box 515, Bridgeport, CA 93517. Please note on the check the month you wish to attend. No refunds are given once a reservation is made; however, we can switch your reservation to another month.
Please, family members or friends cannot accompany the photographer without paying an additional $50 fee. Dogs are not permitted to accompany photographers before or after regular park hours. During regular hours, dogs must be on a leash.
Advanced reservations are required. Please call (760) 647-6564 for information. We do not send written confirmation of your reservation; however, you may contact the park to verify your reservation. |
