Memorial Day weeekend, 2011

WELCOME CAMPERS!

Saturday, May 28:

          DONNER PARTY HISTORY WALKS 

10:30 AM AND 2 PM - Meet at the flagpole in front of the museum for a short walk to historical sites in the park.  Learn about the Donner Party's experience in the perilous winter of 1846-47.

JUNIOR RANGERS (AGES 7-12)

12:30 PM- Meet on the museum back deck ready to team up and hike the Nature Trail.   We will do a scavenger hunt for some of the interesting things we find along the trail.

EVERY DAY: CAMPERS GET IN FREE AT THE EMIGRANT TRAIL MUSEUM. Located adjacent to the main parking lot.  Open 10AM to 5PM daily.  Lots of great exhibits and a Donner Party video shown on the hour until 4PM.
