Park Funding
The Sierra State Parks Foundation funds state park educational and interpretive programs in Sierra District parks.
This support, which helps make the visitor experience exceptional and special, is now critically needed because the state has cut funding to the parks so drastically.
In September 2009, the state will announce which state parks will close in Calfiornia. These will include some Sierra District parks: we don't yet know which ones. Stay tuned to our website for updates as they're available.
