Park is located in Tahoe City, near shopping malls and restaurants. Views of Ponderosa and Jefferey pine groves from park.

Sugar Pine Point SP, (11 miles south on State Highway 89), is suggested if more secluded campsites are desired. Alternate park phone number is 530-525-7982.
