Join California State Parks and the Tahoe Interagency Bear Team every month this summer on the last Sunday at 8:30 pm for a free movie night on the beach at Kings Beach State Recreation Area. This event is made possible by support from Tahoe Fund and Sierra State Parks Foundation.
This month will show "Bears of Durango," a documentary about a study that was done in Durango, Colorado, to try to better understand what urban bears are doing. It's a very similar situation to Tahoe, with lots of people, trash issues, and bear conflicts because of it.
Come learn how to keep Tahoe bears wild while enjoying a different movie every month.
